Okey, so here's the deal, I've sold a couple of paintings and drawings over the last few years, but I've always had trouble when it comes to naming the price. I always feel that I request either to much or to low. So my question is, how do you do it? How do you name the right price of your paintings and drawings? And if you were to name a price on the paintings and drawings below how much would you say?

M/S Atene by IsabelleWallgren  Toddler Thief by IsabelleWallgren
M/S Atene                                Toddler Thief
original size: ca 400x500 mm          original size: ca 400x500 mm

These are both acrylics on the same size and similar technique, therefor similar prizes for me.
And what if they were bigger? 540x650 mm?

Heath Ledger by IsabelleWallgren
Heath Ledger
original size: A3 (=297x420 mm)
Lars Winnerback by IsabelleWallgren
Lars Winnerbäck
original size: A3

Since both are portraits, drawn with the same technique (pencil, charcoal and white marker) I believe they should be about the same, but on the other hand the Winnerbäck has more background..? What if they where A4?

Parafrasing Scream                 Parafrasing Mona Lisa
original size: ca 400x500 mm       original size: ca 400x500 mm

Again here, same techniques and sizes. Both acrylics I believe too. But what if they were twice the size? 800x1000 mm?

Yeeeeessss, another acrylic on canvas with the colours going haywire! This is apparently what I do know. I don't know how or why, it just ends up like that. Love it though  And I have more on the way ;)

Painted this for my boyfriends 20th birthday. It's the ship he and most of his family sails with, M/S Atene.

And how do everyone get so good quality on your paintings?? I mean when you upload them!? I have a waaay to small scanner and when I try to take a picture of my finished painting the colours come off wrong. I know, photoshop, but it's hard anyway ^^

Toddler Thief
So, the story behind this is quite short and simple. We were at a family reunion in Norway earlier this summer. Right before we were supposed to leave this little girl (whos name I forgotten...) decided to take this Prada bag and run around with it, while the owner of the bag ran after her. Reminded me of every comedy show ever made :D

Quick painting, not very detailed, and as always a little to much colour ^^
Painted with acrylics on canvas. Original size is about 40x50 cm.

An extremly old drawing I started a couple of years ago, and never continued... Now it is finished anyway but it didn't really turn out the way I wanted. Since my tablet and new computer apparently hate each other nothing is working the way I want it to (hence the very weird looking signature). Plus the fact that I recently bought another version of photoshop that I'm not fond yet.
Anyway I'm done and I guess I like it a little :D

Since it was so long ago I started this I lost the original photo and photographer, sorry about that.
