Don't hold your breath by IsabelleWallgren
Don't hold your breath
A one year old (and my first or second try) dry point print! Really fun to make and the handsome fellow in the print is the most awesome boyfriend ever (just in case he would see this  )! the reference I used is a photograph I took myself about two years ago.

Antelope print by IsabelleWallgren
Antelope print
An one-year-old print and my first or second try using dry point. The reference I used was a sketch I did of one of the animals in the Gothenburg museum of natural history.

I wish I could do stuff like this at home but unfortunately you need a lot of equipment No, I disagree!  I really miss the free equipment you could use at my old school ^^

The girl with the blue hair
A (kind of quick) watercolour painting I did for practice and to keep up the painting! Aaaand a little just to post something since I haven't got my latest's subjects consent of posting paintings of their faces on the web yet! But when I get them I will be back to post some more 'serious' paintings :D
Used watercolours and black and white markers on A4ish watercolour paper

Deer
Painted with watercolours, black and white markers
A3 watercolour paper

Sorry, I've been away for a while, so it must be pretty boring to follow me! ^^ But now I'm back and I'm gonna try to get more involved on this site again!

Really enjoyed painting this since it's been a while I painted something just for me and not a commission (therefor the lack of uploads lately). Hope you like it :happybounce:

Elephant x2 by IsabelleWallgren
Elephant x2
Decided to make a painting of the elephant but he got company this time!
The sketch/drawing was drawn with a charcoal set I got as a Christmas present, and this was painted with a paint set and acrylics I got at the same time. Not the best colours I've used but the brushes and the other gadgets where awesome! :D

Critiques

Okey, so here's the deal, I've sold a couple of paintings and drawings over the last few years, but I've always had trouble when it comes to naming the price. I always feel that I request either to much or to low. So my question is, how do you do it? How do you name the right price of your paintings and drawings? And if you were to name a price on the paintings and drawings below how much would you say?

M/S Atene by IsabelleWallgren  Toddler Thief by IsabelleWallgren
M/S Atene                                Toddler Thief
original size: ca 400x500 mm          original size: ca 400x500 mm

These are both acrylics on the same size and similar technique, therefor similar prizes for me.
And what if they were bigger? 540x650 mm?

Heath Ledger by IsabelleWallgren
Heath Ledger
original size: A3 (=297x420 mm)
Lars Winnerback by IsabelleWallgren
Lars Winnerbäck
original size: A3

Since both are portraits, drawn with the same technique (pencil, charcoal and white marker) I believe they should be about the same, but on the other hand the Winnerbäck has more background..? What if they where A4?

Paraphrasing The Scream by IsabelleWallgren  Paraphrasing Mona-Lisa by IsabelleWallgren
Parafrasing Scream                 Parafrasing Mona Lisa
original size: ca 400x500 mm       original size: ca 400x500 mm

Again here, same techniques and sizes. Both acrylics I believe too. But what if they were twice the size? 800x1000 mm?

All the love to everyone that wants to help me
